Conveniently located in San Jose, the space can accommodate up to 120 guests and offers ample on-site parking, making it an ideal venue for gatherings that are both inspiring and effortless to host.

Every whisky is thoughtfully produced in custom copper pot stills, allowing for careful control at each stage of the process and ensuring exceptional balance and character.
We use premium peated and non peated malts, mineral rich Sierra Nevada water, and patient aging to develop whiskies with remarkable depth, complexity, and texture. From grain selection to maturation, every decision is made with intention, guided by our commitment to quality rather than convention. The result is a portfolio of whiskies that are layered, expressive, and distinctly our own.

Our Founder
Virag Saksena and Vishal Gauri
10th Street Distillery was founded by Virag Saksena and Vishal Gauri, two longtime friends and engineers who shared a passion for whisky and a belief that exceptional spirits could be crafted outside traditional whisky regions. What began as years of private experimentation and learning, from home distilling to formal apprenticeships abroad, grew into a pioneering American single malt whisky project in San Jose, California. Saksena’s early love of single malt and Gauri’s technical background laid the foundation for whiskies that balance precision, creativity, and depth of character.
Driven by a desire to create whisky that reflects both tradition and a strong sense of place, the founders combine time honored techniques with a spirit of innovation. They draw on California’s mineral rich water, local climate, and a willingness to explore unique fermentation methods and barrel programs. Rather than replicating old world styles, their goal has always been to craft distinctive American single malts that stand on their own, earning recognition while helping define the future of American whisky.
